Steps 1-3 of how water moves through BioStyle power filters

How it Works 

  1. Water is pulled up through the intake and into the filter.
  2. The water flows through the filter chamber that houses the multi-stage filter cartridges and biological filter foams. The water circulates through different filter media, which collects debris and provides optimal water quality and clarity. In Thermo models, the water is simultaneously heated by the integrated heater.
  3. The clean, clear water exits out of the filter and back into the aquarium via the spillway.
